So I'm starting my first mod that would require me to completely tear apart the case. And while I was unscrewing everything and checking out just how many rivets I'd have to drill out I realized I have now idea what you typically do when it comes time to put the case back together and all the rivets are gone. So I thought it would be best to find out what the standard technique is before I turned the case into scrap metal. Should I Re-rivet the same holes, make different holes, or just use screws instead. And If I should use screws do i need to worry about threading the holes? Oh It's a Lian Li V2100 if that makes any difference. Thanks.

just rerivet them with the same size rivet you remove. your drill bit only needs to be as large as the center core of the rivet.

If yer talkin about how to put it back together , do what I used to do with car engines .................... draw a map

example would be like take the back piece and do a quick scetch, with all holes then mark which holes get rivits with a red pen or star or somethin'

just been browsing and came across xxxxxxxx there prices seem to be way lower that standard. All of the xxxxxx seem to be priced around $200 to $300. Are they fakes? The site seems to look quite legit.

why are you posting things about watches in this forum and it's about rivets? No spam allowed.

Because they're a spammer who doesn't care about the rules. Don't worry. Posts have been deleted and user will be banned.

I've usually always used Self Drilling 4x25mm screws, available from any plastics warehouse - you want the coarse threaded ones, not the fine threaded ones. They are actually reinforcement screws but perfectly fine for any use.
