(insert long whistle sound here)

Very, very nice, Bill! Fantastic cuts and grinding with the rotary tool. Guess I'd better brush up my skills before the next cutting project I attempt. There are too many Dremel masters around here! lol

Red's a favorite color of mine, too...looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Like others said he used a laser cutter for it. I don't know anyone that can use a dremel for something like that and make it perfect.

Yeah, I especially like the fact that it stands out from the crowd while still being a completely normal, usable-by-anyone case, as opposed to a spaceship/bowling ball/aquarium/microwave/whatever mod. Don't get me wrong, extreme mods are really impressive, but there is something about making a computer case look amazing and still obviously just be exactly what it is -- a computer -- that always makes me happy.

I HAVE to meet someone local with a water/laser cutting machine, along with a good airbrush guy as well. I could do so much more with my mods then.

Oh, and yet another good use of spikes...wicked, yet not overdone (as happens all too often).

is this a finished mod Bill?

i was thinking you could possibly accent the 5.25 covers with some red, just a hintor red to make it pop a little bit more.

All in all amazing :)

i absolutely friggin love the effect you got out of the metalcast, odly i have a can of the exact same paint one short flight of stairs above me. i'm going to have to incorperate that into my mod now too, thanks alot for the extra work bill  :D

i have to agree with grez's earlyer statement, its allways cool to see a mini-itx scale hamster, but there is something special about a regular case with a hamster simply airbrushed on.

Yes, DC Mods Computer Shop in Burnsville, Mn, bought and placed it in their store front window. Last I heard, they went out of business a few months ago. No idea where it is now.
