At this point, Whatever CoolIT sends us carlos. I have no control over that end of sponsership with project.

Right now, we're trying to find a local chrome plating outfit that can turn these panels around in a short time frame

probably aircooled crossfire then. well, that case sure has the space and enough fanholes! I wonder when you'll actually receive your system components? A lot of wildcards in this deck along with the AMD Shuffle: you can draw from any part of the deck at any time without advanced notice.

Heat dissipation hasn't been the problem with OCing the Phenoms so far... maybe if you get a 9900 black box.

hmmmm... might have to dip those panels in Mothers!

How's it lookin' for wheels/ case feet?

Amen.

I may have to release a "tell all" video segment after this all over. Depends how much more AMD's marketing dept wants to further tweek me... Corporate BS aside, I was at Craig's shop all night test fitting everything before the milled shell goes to the chrome plater tommorow.

The new case shell is a PC enthusiast's wetdream. The design I came up with is timeless, my best yet... it will never got out of style. I'll stop teasing now and get some pics up tommorow

Wheels are the furthest thing from my mind right now.. Nobody will even notice them with everything else going on

Guys, I think I can honestly say this is the "Mother of All Case Badges!" This is the AMD logo body for the rotary latch, for the left access door. It's miled from 3/4" thick aircraft aluminum and measures 4.5" diameter by 2.5" tall!!

This will have to go on the entrance to the corporate boardroom when the project is done. But seriously this is a really strong, uncluttered, and bold rendition of one of their symbols.

Dude, that is *NOT* a case badge, it is a weapon of cranium destruction!

CSI: "What happened here officer?"
Cop: "Well, it looks like he got clobbered with a blunt instrument."
CSI: "Do we have a weapon?"
Cop: "Well, we got this.." <hands CSI the aluminum AMD logo>
CSI: "Is this the murder weapon?"
Cop: "Look for yourself"
CSI: <bends over and looks at victims skull. Sees a large AMD logo indented into the head with blood all around it. Examines wound, looks at the "weapon" and nods> "Yup, this is it. Any suspects?"
Cop: <points to group of onlookers wearing Intel and nVidia T-shirts who are high-fiving each other>

Omg, I lol'd so hard at that.

That is the sickest case badge I've ever seen, I wonder how much that cost...
