Well i have been playing with some serious Ideas.

Well My supplies arrived, and to work i went.









man i am such a tease, lol Anyway i have made a huge mistake by trying to paint the chassis in 28F temps

Well first I cut the rear fan grill out.


just as i normally do with all my projects.
then i took some sand able and filling primer primed the chassis and it wasnt bad but it was still just really too cold. I set the chassis in front of a 10K BTU ceramic heater. to get some fast drying time. and then proceeded to paint the chassis, but due to the cold it just didn't turn out right ...

But the paint I chose for the chassis is HIGH GLOSS Dupicolor engine enamel.




as you can see there is some flaws in the paint.
ok they are not flaws they are really bad runs. thats due to the paint just being thick and not spraying evenly due to the cold.



So in the mean time i took the fan controller and changed the LEDS from blue to green.





And for the front bezel I have to give the props to Bill and Ian for them having the patience to work with this stuff its So hard to work with.



so after getting pissed off at the front bezel. I thought to my self. Now is the time to change your mind on your color scheme, and thats when it hit me. Custom paint the outside and the inside. I hope that its to be a bit warmer tomorrow and if it is then i can get some more painting done.

but while waiting for that chassis to dry, I went a head and got started on sleeving some wires.

UPDATE :

despite the cold weather and snow that we have been having in va and mainly rain today was awesome i was able to get the motherboard tray fixed from a really bad start on the paint.

then i was able to finish sleeving some wires for the second set of uv lights

I will be using 2 sets of 12in uv cold cathrode,
and i also got the one side panel done with the dual 45cfm 30db cooler master 80mm fans done.









thats the side panel. now i need to clear the chassis and to do that i am going to rent a air compressor for a couple of days from a buddy of mine and use some ppg clear the same stuff Bill used on his airbrushing. Thanks for the idea Bill.




If the weather behaves i might get some done tomorrow
